The place was nice and clean and the location and pools were great no noise from the village at night. The stove and oven are a bit wonky and the unit could do with a fresh coat of paint. But we would stay here again. Cheers

Enjoyed our stay! 549 accommodated our family members very well. It is conveniently located to the hot tubs and pool and is very quiet! Beds were super comfy and my wife liked the pillows. The view of the mountain is obscured somewhat by the lovely tall pines with some glimpses of the hill in behind. Staff at the front desk and at the ski velet are very friendly and helpful!

Superb location! Top floor was quiet. Beautiful protected view through the evergreens with glimpses of the gondola. Grill was in great shape. It was ideal for us and our 3 large boys. We would stay here again. Things to know: park near the East Tower elevator. Things to fix: only 2 of 4 toaster slots worked and those 2 were temperamental at best. Things I wish the condo included: Soup bowls, stereo, garbage bags that fit the kitchen container. Things I would bring next time: spices (only S&P in the condo), bar soap, bluetooth speaker, kleenex, kitchen scrubby, ziplocs, scissors.

We had a lovely stay. The location was perfect for us. The condo is also great. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were as described. We found the couches in the living room a bit uncomfortable and the AC in the master bedroom, while EXTREMELY helpful, made it difficult to keep the room dark since it vents out the window. Overall, we would come back.

Pool was under maintenance, but hot hub was big! About 15 minute walk to main village. Building is a bit old, warm inside and in the hallways and it's not even summer yet! The bunk and queen bed is great combo. Kitchen is tight, but useable.Kate was awesome! She helped me so much! Thank you Kate!

A group of 6 friends stayed here for the weekend to ski and had a great time! All the essentials are in the room that you would need to cook and feel at home. The beds were very comfortable and also the room felt very cozy. Having a ski rental inside the hotel is a plus as well as the vending machines with eggs and other random foods for last minute breakfast sandwich making! We also really enjoyed the hot-tub, just wish both were open!

Great ski weekend

Basically on top of the new blackcomb gondola. The condo was clean and comfortable. We loved the communal hot tubs for some post mountain muscle recovery. Would definitely stay here again.

Great ski in and out

Liked the ski valet service. Price of parking should be included. Not fully stocked with paper items for the duration of our stay. Hair dryer broken. Glad I brought mine. Comfortable place. I would stay again.

Good but could do with some simple things

Great setup including location etc. Unit 549 is lovely but needs a little TLC. One of the chairs is broken and if you want to cook the kitchen is a bit under-stocked eg. just a baking tray to put a pizza in the oven would be nice! and a few more tea/coffee mugs and teaspoons wouldn't go astray.

It was our first time at the Aspens and we loved it! The service was amazing, specially the ski equipment valet. The location of the apartments is unbelievable, truly ski in ski out! We will definitely return and recommend to others. The 549 unit was very comfortable and cozy.

Great location! Only a couple minute walk to upper village, and 12 minute walk to lower village. Check in extremely easy with door code received in advance. Only wish they did not charge for parking. This is an unnecessary expense. Overall, great experience!

The unit we rented was renovated, very clean and had everything we needed. It was private at the back with trees. Walking to the village can be a challenge if you take the shortcut.

We were a group of 5 staying in Aspens 549. There was more than enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. All of the amenities were excellent! We made great use of the kitchen and loved having a BBQ on the balcony. The location is nice and quite, and yet not too far away from the Blackcomb stroll and the Whistler main village. The suite was very clean and in great condition. The folks at the main desk and reception were wonderful as well. We made use of the pool and hot tub as well. I guess I can't say enough good things about this place!

Great little condo with a few major drawbacks

The positives: location is terrific! Easy ski in/out near Blackcomb base. Quick walk to shuttle. We chose a top floor unit so we didn't have to listen to ski boots stomping overhead. This was probably the best sleep I've had at a ski condo. Kitchen was sufficient for making a few nice dinners, outdoor hot tub was wonderful, laundry facilities were appreciated. Ski valet is handy, and there's a rack outside we could use to tune our skis. The drawbacks: I don't expect full housekeeping service at a condo, but I do expect something (clean towels/trash removal). If you stay here, be prepared for zero housekeeping. You will have to take your own trash into a huge stinky room outside in the cold, and have to use a giant industrial trash compactor. For what we were paying, this was unreasonable. Be aware that although the unit technically sleeps 8, it won't really work. Sure, there are places for the bodies to fit for sleep, but not the bags/gear. 4 of us felt pretty cozy. Somehow there are only 7 chairs at the dinner table, and couch space for 5 people max. Maintenance issues: fireplace broken (repaired quickly, new thermostat), grill had no gas, disposal broke our last day, phone was dead (they told us owner didn't pay the bill and they couldn't fix it). For international guests, a land line is critical, and this is probably a violation of hotel safety laws.

As for your comment about the garbage, we would like to clarify that Aspens lodge is not a hotel as all of the suites are privately owned and professionally managed by a number of property management companies, including Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations. For this reasons, many services that you would expect in a typical hotel are not offered, unfortunately. We encourage guests to always inquire about the details and services offered for the rental home of their choice before they book - to avoid confusion and disappointments. Guest satisfaction is truly our top priority and it is always our intention to offer homes that best match guest expectations. Even if it means referring guests to our Whistler colleagues when we are unable to offer what is asked for. As for the telephone and BBQ, this home actually does not come with a land line but we have other Aspens suites that do (private owners have different phone contracts). Once again, guests can find out full details either on our site or by speaking with one of our Blackcomb Peaks agents (not 3rd parties). With regards to the BBQs, we have spare tanks on site and we are always happy to replace them once guests run out of gas. Our unit binders list our toll free and other information to have this arranged. In conclusion, we are happy to know that our maintenance team was able to address the fireplace issue quickly and we are very sorry about the inconvenience. Thank you also for pointing out the dining chair situation, our property manager will address that promptly. Once again, we value your feedback and hope that you would come back again. We really enjoyed our week at room #549. We had a few things that weren't working (hairdryer, gas fireplace, coffee pot), but maintenance was very responsive. Ht tubs were pretty crowded, and one was not working part of the time, so additional hot tubs would be useful. Friendly staff, comfortable surroundings. Would definitely return.

the aspens has one of the best outdoor pools of any complex in whistler. it is a short walk to the centre of the village and the underground parking is half the price of the major hotels. the unit was very clean and has all the kitchen accessories u will need complete with outdoor barbecue. I have stayed at the aspens many times and would say that unit 549 is amoungst the best units in the complex. u will not be disappointed with this unit

Great ski weekend

Basically on top of the new blackcomb gondola. The condo was clean and comfortable. We loved the communal hot tubs for some post mountain muscle recovery. Would definitely stay here again.

A group of 6 friends stayed here for the weekend to ski and had a great time! All the essentials are in the room that you would need to cook and feel at home. The beds were very comfortable and also the room felt very cozy. Having a ski rental inside the hotel is a plus as well as the vending machines with eggs and other random foods for last minute breakfast sandwich making! We also really enjoyed the hot-tub, just wish both were open!

It was our first time at the Aspens and we loved it! The service was amazing, specially the ski equipment valet. The location of the apartments is unbelievable, truly ski in ski out! We will definitely return and recommend to others. The 549 unit was very comfortable and cozy.

We had a great time at the Aspens; shared facilities (hot tub) were great, as was the location. The unit was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. It definitely felt like home for the weekend.

We were a group of 5 staying in Aspens 549. There was more than enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. All of the amenities were excellent! We made great use of the kitchen and loved having a BBQ on the balcony. The location is nice and quite, and yet not too far away from the Blackcomb stroll and the Whistler main village. The suite was very clean and in great condition. The folks at the main desk and reception were wonderful as well. We made use of the pool and hot tub as well. I guess I can't say enough good things about this place!

We had a lovely stay. The location was perfect for us. The condo is also great. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were as described. We found the couches in the living room a bit uncomfortable and the AC in the master bedroom, while EXTREMELY helpful, made it difficult to keep the room dark since it vents out the window. Overall, we would come back.

Pool was under maintenance, but hot hub was big! About 15 minute walk to main village. Building is a bit old, warm inside and in the hallways and it's not even summer yet! The bunk and queen bed is great combo. Kitchen is tight, but useable.Kate was awesome! She helped me so much! Thank you Kate!

Liked the ski valet service. Price of parking should be included. Not fully stocked with paper items for the duration of our stay. Hair dryer broken. Glad I brought mine. Comfortable place. I would stay again.

Good but could do with some simple things

Great setup including location etc. Unit 549 is lovely but needs a little TLC. One of the chairs is broken and if you want to cook the kitchen is a bit under-stocked eg. just a baking tray to put a pizza in the oven would be nice! and a few more tea/coffee mugs and teaspoons wouldn't go astray.

Great location! Only a couple minute walk to upper village, and 12 minute walk to lower village. Check in extremely easy with door code received in advance. Only wish they did not charge for parking. This is an unnecessary expense. Overall, great experience!

Great little condo with a few major drawbacks

The positives: location is terrific! Easy ski in/out near Blackcomb base. Quick walk to shuttle. We chose a top floor unit so we didn't have to listen to ski boots stomping overhead. This was probably the best sleep I've had at a ski condo. Kitchen was sufficient for making a few nice dinners, outdoor hot tub was wonderful, laundry facilities were appreciated. Ski valet is handy, and there's a rack outside we could use to tune our skis. The drawbacks: I don't expect full housekeeping service at a condo, but I do expect something (clean towels/trash removal). If you stay here, be prepared for zero housekeeping. You will have to take your own trash into a huge stinky room outside in the cold, and have to use a giant industrial trash compactor. For what we were paying, this was unreasonable. Be aware that although the unit technically sleeps 8, it won't really work. Sure, there are places for the bodies to fit for sleep, but not the bags/gear. 4 of us felt pretty cozy. Somehow there are only 7 chairs at the dinner table, and couch space for 5 people max. Maintenance issues: fireplace broken (repaired quickly, new thermostat), grill had no gas, disposal broke our last day, phone was dead (they told us owner didn't pay the bill and they couldn't fix it). For international guests, a land line is critical, and this is probably a violation of hotel safety laws.

We agree that the Aspens location is amazingly convenient and we are very pleased to know that you had one of the best sleeps in this top floor unit. As for your comment about the garbage, we would like to clarify that Aspens lodge is not a hotel as all of the suites are privately owned and professionally managed by a number of property management companies, including Blackcomb Peaks Accommodations. For this reasons, many services that you would expect in a typical hotel are not offered, unfortunately. We encourage guests to always inquire about the details and services offered for the rental home of their choice before they book - to avoid confusion and disappointments. Guest satisfaction is truly our top priority and it is always our intention to offer homes that best match guest expectations. Even if it means referring guests to our Whistler colleagues when we are unable to offer what is asked for. As for the telephone and BBQ, this home actually does not come with a land line but we have other Aspens suites that do (private owners have different phone contracts). Once again, guests can find out full details either on our site or by speaking with one of our Blackcomb Peaks agents (not 3rd parties). With regards to the BBQs, we have spare tanks on site and we are always happy to replace them once guests run out of gas. Our unit binders list our toll free and other information to have this arranged. In conclusion, we are happy to know that our maintenance team was able to address the fireplace issue quickly and we are very sorry about the inconvenience. Thank you also for pointing out the dining chair situation, our property manager will address that promptly. Once again, we value your feedback and hope that you would come back again. We manage over 90 homes in Whistler and are confident that we could find the perfect home for you. Please do ask us for suggestions next time you plan to come. We really enjoyed our week at room #549. We had a few things that weren't working (hairdryer, gas fireplace, coffee pot), but maintenance was very responsive. Ht tubs were pretty crowded, and one was not working part of the time, so additional hot tubs would be useful. Friendly staff, comfortable surroundings. Would definitely return.

The unit we rented was renovated, very clean and had everything we needed. It was private at the back with trees. Walking to the village can be a challenge if you take the shortcut.
